“Bright Ideas” Blog Series

As a fellow at the Smithsonian Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation, I studied Universal Design and accessibility in the Smithsonian museums on the National Mall. Based on this research, I did a public blog series for “Bright Ideas,” the Lemelson Center blog published by the Smithsonian Institution. Each post detailed a different set of design features:

Part I: Circulation, ramps, and landings (link)

Part II: Sensory Features (link)

Part III: Universal Design and Museum Exhibit Technologies (link)
